Samsung launches Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in Nigeria
Nigeria: Samsung electronics has launched its highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in Nigeria. By rolling out the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in Nigeria, Samsung has added a new product to its smartphone category.
The device is combination of a tablet and a smartphone and comes with a rubber padded S-Pen stylus. The device was unveiled at an event held in Lagos. The device was earlier launched during the IFA in Berlin in September 2012 and has now arrived on the African continent. The device was revealed at an unboxing event held at Capetown in October 2012.
Mr. Bravo Kim who is the manager of Samsung Electronics Co. in West Africa said that this was a step forward by Samsung to fulfill its brand promise. He said that it is Samsung's commitment to take motivational steps to inspire the world with awful technology, to bring innovations to their customer's doorsteps. This launch is also being taken as a measure to dominate over Apple's iPhone 5 in the market. The apple iPhone 5 was launched in October this year and has gained dominance in the smartphone market since then, leaving behind its rival Samsung.
The Galaxy Note 2 is powered by the latest Android OS Jelly Bean and features a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor. The device also features a giant 5.5 inch touchscreen. The display is quite clear. The tablet cum smartphone comes with an 8 MP primary camera and 1.9 MP secondary camera.
