Rumors have it that the latest news about the release of Samsung Galaxy S 4 is that the device will be unveiled on 14th March 2013 during a grand event in New York. These reports related to release of Samsung Galaxy Siv during the mid march come from Mobile Review's Eldar Murtazin.


Although Murtazin few of the rumors previously reported were proved incorrect, but this one matches with the rumors suggested by Sam Mobile too. So, chances are that the next flagship of the galaxy s series could be unveiled during the mid March 2013.

Another rumor related to Samsung Galaxy S4 has started surfacing in. Sammobile has reported that Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be announced on March 15, 2013 - 15 days after the MWC scheduled to be held in Barcelona. Earlier speculation were being made that the announcement of the much-anticipated flagship from Samsung will be made during the MWC 2013 but now according to Sammobile, an insider has revealed the release date of Galaxy S4 and its March 15.



The release could come up at a special event - Mobile Unpacked - the venue of which remains still unknown. Samsung is developing Galaxy S4 under the codename - 'Altius' and if a trusted insider of Sammobile is to be believed, the wait for the handset could end on March 15 this year and we might hear something from the company soon.

As far as availability is concerned, the handset will  be first made available to eastern countries of Europe. The remaining countries of Europe and Asia will see the device only during end of April. US, Africa and Australia will have to wait until May-June to catch a glimpse of the device.

Rumor has it that apart from the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Samsung could also unveil a new flagship at the MWC 2013 called the Samsung galaxy Q.  MWC 2013 is scheduled to be held in the end of this month. It will (obviously) be at par than the Galaxy Q that was released in 2011, featuring a dual 1080p AMOLED screen, as reported by Slashgear.


The device popped up and gained popularity online when a reader the site of GT-B9150 GLBenchmark tests. The report and specs matched that of the Samsung Q, that confirms the rumors of the device to be releasing soon. And, the event at which this could be displayed is most probably the MWC 2013.

The rumored specs of Samsung Galaxy Q include a 5.3 inch 1080p AMOLED screen, a 1.7 GHz Exynos processor, 2GB RAM, 8 MP rear and 2 MP front camera, possibility of a flexible OLED. But these features would only be confirmed when Samsung will lift the curtains (probably at the MWC 2013).

According to the latest information received by the geeks at PhoneArena, Samsung Galaxy S4 would be unveiled in April this year. Earlier, SamMobile had confirmed the release of the device in March, but it seems that the latest rumors might be true as being predicted by PhoneArena.


Samsung is expecting to sell more units of this flagship as compared to the galaxy s3. Rumors also have it that Samsung is developing this flagship under the codename - GT I9500 Altius. The set is also rumored to come in white and black versions.

The specs are yet not clear. Rumors reveal that the processor can be either quad or octa, chances of octa being more. From those tat have been confirmed are - Exynos processor with Mali T658 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM, 13MP camera with excellent shooting capability.

Whatever may be the case, the Korean giant is not leaving any stone unturned to make this flagship a greater success than the S3.
