Here's a fresh news coming in from GSMArena. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has been spotted and the pics posted on GSM Arena confirm that its going to be the ruggedized variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Samsung Galaxy S4 active will be dust and water resistant and will come with almost similar specs as the galaxy s4 itself.

The phone will sport a 1.9 GHz processor coupled with Adreno 320 GPU. The screen-size and resolution remains the same while the rear camera has been downgraded to 8 MP from 13 MP. Another deviation from the samsung galaxy s4 design are the 3 buttons that come in the Samsung Galaxy Active just below the touchscreen.

Nothing is official yet, but the release is being expected soon.

Samsung has launched the new variant of its recently released mid-ranged smartphone Samsung Galaxy Grand. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro comes with a quad core processor and is currently priced at Rs. 17,290.


This dual sim phone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 4.7 inch touchscreen, unlike the Grand which came with a massive 5 inch touchscreen. Android 4.1.2 - JellyBean OS is also in store apart from the quad-core processing unit.

This version adds to the processing but cuts short on the features provided in the grand duos. The grand duos came with an 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera. This one sports a 5 MP rear and a VGA front camera. Apart from this you get an 8 GB internal memory with an option to expand it to 32GB.

The Samsung galaxy grand was launched this year in January at a price of Rs. 21,500.
