Rumors related to samsung galaxy s5's release are surfacing all over the internet. One of them hints to the release of the device with the successor of the Samsung galaxy gear. Reports have been citing the specs of the highly-awaited smartphone. These specs include a 16MP camera and a 64 bit CPU. If the leaks are to be believed, samsung galaxy gear would see a 15-20% better specs than the former galaxy gear. With rumors afloat all around the internet. it seems like Samsung's planning to start the next year with a bang.


The report comes from a korean site ET News, an official from Samsung has said that it is likely that samsung is going to launch galaxy gear 2 alongside samsung galaxy s5. According to the official, people would be able to use galaxy gear 2 alongwith Samsung Galaxy s5 with a better integration with the device.

Reports also hint at the fact Samsung might put in some health and fitness features in its galaxy gear to dominate the health martket too. Officially, Samsung hasn't declared a date for the release of any of its devices.

Not just this, galaxy round features are a bit inferior to those of the galaxy note 3 and the phone's still not in fashion. The battery is just 2800mAh while the galaxy note 3 has a 3200mAh battery. Both have the same display size and resolution and also the same ppi.

While the galaxy round comes with a 32GB of internal memory, Galaxy Note 3 gives you three options to choose from - 16/32/64 GB. Both have the same RAM - 3GB.

With 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera in both these devices, the picture quality and camera features are exactly the same.

The OS, GPU, CPU and the chipset are all the same in both the devices.

So it makes no sense to pay around 200EUR just to avail that curved screen feature on your phone. 

Amid all the rumors surfacing all over the internet about Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung has quietly launched the basic versions of Samsung Galaxy Trend and Samsung Galaxy Fame. The Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite and samsung galaxy Fame lite were launched in Netherlands, however, there were no details that revealed the price of the phones. Also its not confirmed whether this release would be limited to only Netherlands or other countries too.

To the disappointment of those who were eager and excited about Samsung Galaxy S5, the company might be dropping the idea of incorporating a fingerprint scanner and a 64 bit processor in the successor of samsung galaxy s4. Adding to the disappointment might be the unavailability of Android Kit Kat OS in the galaxy s5. We had earlier reported that Samsung galaxy s5 could come with a fingerprint scanning technology that is currently being used in laptops. But, latest rumors suggest that Samsung's partner Crucialtec - the company responsible for inclusion of fingerprint swipe scanning technology in future samsung smartphones might not be able to deliver the biometrics feature until late 2014.


According to a news published in the Korea times, samsung galaxy s5 could also skip the 64 bit processor chip which was earlier rumored to be coming as one of the main features of samsung galaxy s5. Samsung's CEO Shin John Kyun told that the chip would be incorporated in the future galaxy phones but wont arrive in the shortest possible time. From the statement it can be anticipated that the device that would feature a 64 bit chip would probably be Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

The Android Kit Kat scheduled to arrive in October will also be skipped. Intel's Developer Forum states that the OS would run on a 64 bit processor. Hence, dropping the 64 bit processor would mean skipping the Android Kit Kat OS.

Other rumors we've heard about Samsung Galaxy S5 says that the Galaxy S5 would feature a magnificent 20.7MP camera.

The smartphone currently costs £649 and comes with all three carriers. The smartphone can also be availed at a cost of £30 on special contract. The Galaxy Gear is priced at £299. But Samsung gives a special discount of £100 when purchased with unlocked Galaxy Note 3. The combined cost of both the gadgets after discount approximates to around £848.
