Samsung Galaxy S5 coming up with fingerprint swipe scanner technology
With the release of Apple's iPhone 5s, the smartphone industry seems to be moving towards the change that apple did in the successor of iPhone 5 ,i.e. the introduction of fingerprint scanning built into the home button. Samsung seems to be moving on the same line as well, if we believe the rumors spread all over the internet. Latest rumors reveal that Samsung is planning to pass on the fingerprint scanning technology to its Galaxy S series smartphones and the device to come up first in this line could be the Galaxy S5.
As posted on iquisitr, the rumors reveal that Samsung Galaxy S5 would feature biometrics technology. This would be the same as the technology used in finger swipe scanner in laptops. Apart from this, the galaxy s5 could feature Youm, a flexible display. The company has already confirmed the release of 64 bit CPU for the next galaxy s series smartphone.
Another feature being speculated is a metal body casing that could be step to avoid the downfall of the galaxy s5 as was the case with the galaxy s4.
