Samsung planning to launch Windows-RT based tablet
Samsung is planning to launch a Windows tablet this fall (see the release date). This tablet would be working on the Windows RT OS that is a part of Microsoft's Windows 8 software. This decision was taken by samsung following the ban on the sales of the Galaxy tab 10.1 tablets in U.S.
As per the rumors, this new tablet based on Windows RT O.S. would be identical to the Qualcomm Snapdragon slate.
Earlier the sales of Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 were banned in the U.S. by a district court as a result of Apple's allegation which stated that Samsung had infringed upon its patent. Following this Samsung had to again face a ban on its galaxy nexus series which was later lifted after Samsung's appeal.
